The Course

Built in 1989 and designed by Ted McAnlis, this 18 hole wooded course features lakes coming into play on many holes. The fairways are narrow and well bunkered, and the terrain is quite scenic. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, so shot accuracy is at a premium. The greens are medium-sized, undulating, and medium to fast in speed, depending on the weather conditions. While playing a round here, it is not uncommon to encounter bobcats, bald eagles, deer, or even alligators. The true elegance of Misty Creek lies in its seclusion and ability to make you feel like you are the only one on the course. It is only after sinking your put on 18 that you realize that Misty Creek is comprised of a decidedly friendly membership base that enthusiastically protects the privacy and wildlife of the course and surrounding preserve.
